  We're not too sure how long this Friends themed wine bar/cafe is going to be around, once Warner Bros gets wind of their existence (although maybe they do have permission, who knows?). So if you fancy combining watching your favourite TV show along with enjoying brunch, then you'd best get down here sharpish.

  Popular Kentish Town brasserie Patron is expanding - they've picked Blackstock Road for their second site, serving up all manner of classic French wine and dishes.

• Caravan open a cafe at The Savoy hotel on the Strand

  

  Caravan coffee are starting 2020 strong with a big new tie-in with The Savoy. Not only will they be supplying their coffee throughout the five star hotel, but they've also taken over the hotel's Melba coffee store on The Strand.

  The new coffee shop, which opened today, can be found on the corner of Savoy Court and The Strand and will be open from very early in the morning for anyone dashing to work and needing a caffeine fix.

  With restaurants in Islington and Hammersmith already, Zia Lucia have won many fans for their pizzas - available in four types of dough from vegetable charcoal to the more traditional. This sees them heading to the City with their third pizza restaurant.

  Film director Guy Ritchie's pub empire is expanding. This Fitzrovia pub serves his beer in the pub downstairs and features an upstairs dining room where venison from his Wiltshire estate is on the menu.

• Tokyo Pizza brings Japanese pizza and sake to Maida Vale

  Expect pizzas made with Japanese ingredients at this new Maida Vale spot.

• Tower Hill is the next opening for nikkei grab & go restaurant Waka

  

  They're already in White City and (re) opened in the City late last year - now Waka are bringing their next Nikkei (Peruvian/Japanese) outlet to Tower Hill, on the edge of St Katharine Docks. 

• Ogam Korean tapas bar has opened in Islington

   

  While wandering through Angel over the Christmas break, we spotted this restaurant that opened somewhat under the radar in December. Owner Tae Yeol Kim was apparently International Korean cup Championship 2015 Winner Bartender and is also a Korea traditional alcohol Ambassador.
