What: Schnitzel Forever
In a nutshell: Everything breadcrumbed and fried
Summing it all up: Starting life as a delivery-only place during lockdown, this new venture is getting ready to open as a bricks and mortar restaurant in Stoke Newington.
The low-down
What greater love could anyone show for a foodstuff, than coating it with breadcrumbs and frying it? According to upcoming Stoke Newington restaurant Schnitzel Forever that's what loads of countries do - whether they call the end result schnitzel, tonkotsu, alla milanese or even Bečka šnicla (that's Serbian by the way).
On the menu - there's everything from the usual chicken and veal schnitzel to modern takes like fish (seabass or haddock), halloumi and portobello mushroom schnitzels. Sides include potato salad, coleslaw, sweet potat fries and creamy mushrooms while there's a single dessert option of apple strudel.
They've been operating as a delivery-only spot since last summer, but now the team are getting ready to open as an actual restaurant on Church Street. So once the lockdown lifts, you'll be able to head in there for a schnitzel feast.
