What: Heritage Dulwich
In a nutshell: Indian restaurant in Dulwich
Summing it all up: Coming from an ex-Tamarind chef, Heritage aims to cook "nostalgic family-taught dishes and unusual foods from lesser-known Indian regions and communities".
We may be in lockdown at the time of writing - but that isn't stopping the odd restaurant from opening their doors for the first time (albeit for delivery only).
Heritage in Dulwich comes from Executive Chef Dayashankar Sharma, who's worked at Tamarind and Zaika, and features "nostalgic family-taught dishes and unusual foods from lesser-known Indian regions and communities".
Starting out on the delivery menu will be a series of set dining sharing boxes, each with regional breads, rices, chutneys and sides:
- Heritage Rajputana (£42 for two) features Mysore Bonda, Murge Makhani, Kasmiri Lamb, Masala Aloo and Dal Makhani.
- Heritage Grill menu (£42 for two) includes Chicken Malai Tikka and Lucknowi Murgh Kebab
- Costal Sack (£45.95) focuses on seafood with Masala Seabass, Prawn Curry and Grilled Salmon
Vegetarian versions are available too and there's also an a la carte option with kebabs, tikkas, Murgh Makhani and more.
