Myungrang's Korean hot dogs are headed for Angel

Myungrang Hot Dog islington

19/5/21 - Updated with the opening date

Hot off the back of the huge success that Bunsik has had in Charing Cross with its corndogs, we now have the Korean giant Myungrang Hot Dog heading our way. With branches dotted all over the world from the Philippines to Singapore and Taiwan, the new restaurant in Angel will be the group's first restaurant in the UK.

So, what can you expect? Apparently their USP has seen them succeed "in developing unique flavour palates appreciated by millennials worldwide". If you, like us, are wondering what's so special about millennial tastes, apparently it results in things like Mozzarella Hot Dog dipped in crispy batter, Rice Cake Hot Dog and Cheddar Cheese Hot Dog on the menu, which we're all for. They also do these crazy potato hot dogs where the batter is made up of deep fried cubes of potato (those are the outside two on the photo above).

They're opening in a ground floor kiosk at the Angel Centre, alongside Korean chicken folk Pelicana so if you're after a treat of corndogs and crispy chicken kimchee boxes, this will be the place to come.
