Well, it's getting more than £130m thrown at it in a massive refurb that's planned to bring with it new shops, a gym and even an indoor swimming pool. They've taken over the site on Market Place that was previously La Rampa (and before that a string of other restaurants, so here's hoping this venture breaks the curse).

Jackson Boxer's long term residency at Selfridges is giving the Oxford Street shop the edge in London's competitive in-store dining scene. We popped down for a weekend lunch to check it out.

Is a massive kebab house the one thing that Oxford Street really needed? Kebhouze seems to think so. 

They're a big kebab chain restaurant mainly with outposts in Italy, including Rome and Milan, but also in Ibiza. Here in London, they're taking a big corner side on Oxford Street, just a few doors down from Marks and Spencer, taking over what used to be a souvenir and vape shop

Oxford Street shoppers are going to have a handy new pitstop to drop into this summer. BAO are opening up BAO Mary on James Street. They've taken over the space next to Patty & Bun (where Sidechick used to be) and this latest restaurant of theirs will focus on dumplings.

Studio Ghibli's Howl's Moving Castle is coming to Selfridges in food form as it takes over their Dolly’s Café for a month.
