If you're a fan of Black Bear Burger (and we are), then it's worth knowing they have something new up their sleeve. Next up after burgers, it's fried chicken with their new 20ft Chicken.
They'll be launching this as part of Market Halls in Oxford Street. We're told this will have the "best quality free-range chicken, bespoke sesame demi-brioche buns, with pickles, ferments and sauces all made in-house". Translating that to the menu, that means we can expect:
- The 20 FT Burger - Buttermilk fried chicken, Habanero & honey mayo, B&B pickles & slaw
- The Big Chill Burger - Buttermilk fried chicken, fermented chilli hot sauce, pickled celery, ranch dressing, shredded iceberg & pickles
Of course, anyone who's been to one of their restaurants knows that their spring roll is a must-have and yes, that's being brought to 20ft in a new form. The new spring roll will be fried chicken, cheese & hot sauce in a deep-fried wonton, coming with pickles & dipping sauce on the side.
We'd say this will be worth a detour from any Oxford Street shopping trip.
