It won over our hearts (and completely furred up our arteries) when we ate there just before Christmas, now the newly-reopened Electric Diner has designs on your breakfast.
They're introducing a French/American menu for first thing in the morning (from 8am) and anyone on any hint of a diet ought to look away now.
The breakfast menu features an eggs section with open faced ham, cheese fondue and fried egg (melted Gruyere cheese, grilled ham with a fried egg and toast to dip in), ham steak and egg muffin (Maple-glazed gammon steak and a fried egg muffin) or a full English breakfast with American-style, maple-glazed confit bacon.
Add to that muffins, bagels and waffels not to mention fresh Electric Donuts from the Donut stand in the Cinema foyer and you have a breakfast that while it may not be that of champions, is certainly going to keep you going probably through to lunchtime the following day, if not further.
There are lighter options such as porridge, grapefruit and granola with yoghurt & fruit - but why would you bother? And from Monday to Thursday, diners having breakfast will get free bottomless filter coffee with their meal.
