Having popped up successfully in Dalston last year, mezcal lovers Sin Gusano are expanding capacity and duration-wise with their next opening - an eight month residency in Hagggerston. They'll be taking over Curio Cabal as a ‘social club’ putting on events, offering private mezcal tasting experiences,and running their popular bar and taqueria.

On that one-night-only menu will be wings in a fiery chipotle maple glaze, and Cap’n Crunch fried chicken strips (these sound GREAT) as well as grilled Mexican street corn slaw, jalapeño popper wontons
If one Tonkotsu in Haggerston just wasn;t enough for you - they're now also opening a two-week pop-up at Haggerston-based Proud East
For a short time only, visitors to the gallery will be able their fix of their salty, filling ramen when Tonkotsu takes over their open-plan kitchen. They’ll also be serving up gyoza, crab korokke (similar to croquettes) and their crunchy chicken karaage.

Now THAT's a burger. News has just reached us of this very special burger going on the menu at Chick n Sours for the whole of March. It's the Macho Nacho Burger and is "fried thigh, Chengdu chicken, kimchee cheese, Vietnamese pickles". Plus, profits from the £12 burger will go to the Cook for Syria fund. So you might want to start planning when you're popping down for one now.

Stop Fix has taken over an underground carpark and is billed as a contemporary wine bar championing new and exciting winemakers from around the world. And they're showcasing that wine alongside rare photography books and
London is slowly but surely gearing up to the launch of the late night tube. And the arrival of La Cabina in Haggerston is another sign of that. This new basement tapas spot will serve a full tapas menu until 5am.
Named after the Spanish phonebox, La Cabina is taking over the space that used to be Manero's. With room for 50 diners, you'll find the entrance at the back of the phone booth on Kingsland Road.
