A few weeks ago, Burger & Lobster proudly launched their limited edition lobster bucket which looked... a little familiar. One company who, it appears, wasn't too enamoured with the look of the bucket was KFC who got in touch with a little Cease and Desist order.
Given this and a little legal advice, Burger and Lobster shifted away from their original look but have somewhat cheekily embraced the change, rebranding the whole affair to "This Is Not A Bucket" (before and after shots above). Making pains to refer to it as anything other than a bucket (note the caveats on the bottom of the "tub") they've also extended the whole thing throughout August.
As before, the not-buckets contain two steamed, grilled or fried 1.25lb lobsters, four claws, half a pound of whole prawns, with bottomless fries and unlimited jugs lemon and garlic butter on the side. So it's a pretty good deal and we'd say it's well worth a look soon, just in case they get served another legal notice...
