Until now, the egg-centric Eggbreak has only been in Notting Hill - but now it's getting ready to pop up in Shoreditch.
It'll be in the Hoxton Shoreditch for the whole of the summer. The hotel and restaurant are owned by the same group, so it's an obvious crossover. This version of Eggbreak will also be taking reservations, unlike the original. As for what's on offer, you can expect:
- Eggybreak Melt – Potato bun, roasted red pepper jam, American sliced cheddar, scrambled eggs
- EBC Toasty – Brioche, hardwood smoked bacon, free-range sunny side egg, American sliced cheddar, chipotle ketchup
- Hot Honey French Toast – Savoury French toast, za'atar, cherry tomatoes, poached eggs, labneh, pickled onion, hot honey
- Turkish Eggs – Poached eggs, dill yoghurt, smoked paprika and a cheese toastie.
They'll also have an Eggbreak burger, which will be exclusive to Hoxton.
So yes - that's LOTS of eggs. They'll also launch a collab with Old Chang Kee, which will be a Singaporean breakfast, Nasi Lemak, made with Old Chang Kee's sambal and curry paste, fragrant rice cooked in coconut milk and topped with a fried egg.
You won't be able to get a late-night egg fix, however. It'll only be open from 7am - 4pm.
