You may have tried their pasta or burgers at one of their stalls across London - either at one of the Mercato Metropolitanos, dotted around Canary Wharf or at Camden Market and Crate Walthamstow. But now Dez Amore are going one step further, opening their first standalone restaurant.
They're heading South West to Fulham Road where they'll be opening up a few junctions down from popular newbie Josephine. Here they'll serve up a mix of pasta, pizza and Tuscan burgers.
The new Chelsea restaurant is going to be a retro-looking place - the idea is to "look like your Nonna's house". Founders, Italian friends Leonardo and Simone who hail from Florence, will be serving up a range of dishes including:
- Tagliatelle cacio e pepe
- Sage and butter ravioli
- Tuscan DOC burger with chianti caramelised onions, bacon, Pecorino and fried egg
- Loaded cheese and truffle fries
They're also promising new dishes like pan-fried pizza and desserts. Either way, it sounds worth a look if you're in this part of town, particularly if you're a homesick Italian.
