They've had lots of success with Perilla on Newington Green and now the same team are opening Morchella on Exmouth Market (taking over from Firebrand Pizza).
This time the restaurant will be all about Mediterranean cuisine, with a focus on sharing dishes like octopus luciana, salt-baked poussin and hake with sobrassada sauce. In the kitchen will be Head Chef Daniel Fletcher, previously at The Square and Sky Garden.
It's being billed as a restaurant and wine bar, with the latter separate from the restaurant itself, so it should prove to be a handy place to pop in for a drink if you happen to be around Exmouth Market.
