They've been raved about by the New Yorker, and have spent the last few months roaming Paris for residencies. Now Ha’s Đặc Biệt are about to give Londoners a taste of what they've been missing.
The cult Vietamese American residency is run by chefs Anthony Ha and Sadie Mae Burns who met while working at Mission Chinese. After leaving there they forged a reputation first for their food cart and then for their supperclubs and residencies
They'll be the next month-long residency at newish Shoreditch natural wine bar Oranj. There's no word yet on the menu but if you take a look at what they've been serving up recently, dishes have included:
- Bò kho vol au vent
- Pork belly with very crisp skin, braised cabbage, mam tom
- Affogato a là ca phe dua coconut & condensed milk
Having popped up at places like Bistrot Paul Bert Early June in Paris, we're looking forward to seeing what they have planned for their London residency.
