Four seasons in one day didn’t stop @parrillanlondon from being the perfect welcoming place to see lovely work friends for the first time in months across socially distanced glasses of rose and plates of perfect Spanish snacks...⁣ ⁣ ...including these fat, crunchy, bechamel filled + steak studded croquetas, creamy Marcona almonds and perfectly charred + salt flecked padron peppers👌

Can confirm that Hawksmoor does a solid roast ✌️ I think Blacklock just about beats it in terms of the meat itself, but loved all the trimmings at Hawksmoor. I usually get too full to finish Yorkshire puddings (pls don’t judge), but couldn’t stop eating this one. Love that it comes with roasted shallots and garlic too. Plus bone marrow and onion gravy, which we obviously asked for extra of! For £23, this roast is decent value for the quality you’re getting. Desserts are a little pricey but still worth it, especially that sticky toffee pudding. . . ⭐️ Rating: 8/10 💸 Price: £23 📍 Location: Borough (and other locations)

𝗟𝗢𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬 𝗟𝗢𝗡𝗚: If you still didn’t try @bleeckerburger , what are you waiting for?! And if you have one last meal to use the Eat Out to help out discount make it this one 😄 I got the double cheese burger (cause one patty is not enough!), the angry fries (with hot sauce and blue cheese), and finally the Oreo Shake (sooo good!!) The normal price for everything comes to £19.5, which I personally think is quite a lot! So with 50% off, this is like a dream!! . . Brawn / Columbia Road / Good for: LUNCH or DINNER ✅ . This was one of those perfect London summer nights.. 🤍 where you fall in love with the city and a certain area for the millionth time and think you must live in the best place on earth. Taking advantage of the gorgeous weather, we started with a picnic blanket and bottle of rosé in Haggerston Park before making our way down to Columbia Road 🍷 The Birdcage was showing off in the sunshine with tables on the sidewalk for alfresco eating and drinking, frosé machine front and centre (oh yes I did!). We spent a bit of tipsy time people watching and talking rubbish before walking the few minutes to Brawn. Brawn is just one of those idyllic neighborhood restaurants on the corner that has become known well outside the area for it's concistently wonderful food and good vibes. We had the cured mackerel, summer greens with grilled peach, crab spaghetti (my favourite!) and lamb chop 🦀🍑 I always love a seat at the bar so we ate there and admired the record collection and custom posters. Afterwards, we decided to finish our drinks on a bench outside to soak up the last of the warmth before jumping on a bike home (anyone else getting those presumptions "don't drink and ride messages" from the electric bike rentals?!). SPOTLIGHT ON SCULLY. Someone give them a STAR! 😉 @scully_chef @scullyrestaurant (Also seriously though, the lighting in this place is 💯) Scully's delightful and creative use of Asian and Western flavours made for an excellent culinary experience. This time we were blown away by the charred chicken with sate lilit and nasi jagung (corn rice for the unacquainted!) and arepa with eggplant sambal (swipe to the end). For dessert we loved the dark chocolate sorbet with blueberry vinegar gel, stem ginger, pistachio + tonka (dairy free - vegans rejoice!)
