We've mentioned a few times about how impressed we've been with the release of so many great meal kits both during the lockdown and since. Some companies have emerged that work specifically on bringing several restaurant's meal kits under one "roof". One of those is Dishpatch - who did the Bong Bong's meal kit that we Test Drove a few weeks back.
They have a new roster of meals every month - and this month's is no less impressive than before, adding Farang and Bubala to the mix. Those new meals are as follows,
From Farang (image at top):
- Gai Prik Crispy Chicken with Fish Sauce Glaze
- Whole Seabass with Chilli Jam
- Gaeng Gari Aromatic Curry of Coconut Braised Yorkshire Beef Cheeks
- Steamed Hom Mali Jasmine Rice
- Banana & Milk Chocolate Roti
And from Bubala (pictured above):
- Pickle Plate
- Laffa Flatbread with Labneh strained yoghurt & Hummus,
- Falafel with Tahini
- Halloumi & Black Seed Honey
- Confit Carrot Tzimmes sweet stew with Whipped Cauliflower, Hawaij spice mix & Apricot
- Potato Latkes with Toum garlic sauce
- Salted Caramel Truffles
In addition, Farokh Tatali has a new meal with chicken, cashew & coconut curry at the heart of it while Andrew Edmunds has a Soho Supper which includes braised duck leg with celeriac, carrots & salsa verde (an they have a vegetarian meal too). Finally, No 5 Social chef Kostas Papathanasiou has a Greek Odyssey dinner featuring Pitta with Tirosalata, Spanakopita (Spinach and feta filo pie) and Arni Giouvetsi (braised Herdwick lamb with orso & parmesan).
