They went properly viral in Soho due to the length of their queues, they then expanded to Spitalfields and now Noodle Inn are getting ready to open their third London noodle bar.
As first revealed by Battersea Beat, the third Noodle Inn is going to be on the top level of Battersea Power Station's Turbine Hall. The station has been slowly growing a pretty impressive restaurant roster over the years, with Dishoom, Arcade, Bao and Roti King having already found a home
...In what's very much an on-again/off-again affair, it looks like the much rumoured return of Le Caprice is back on again. The restaurant had long been rumoured to be part of the launch of the new Chancery Rosewood hotel, but just before that opened the deal was thought to have fallen through. The hotel opened, along with Carbone, but the space that was originally supposed to be Le Caprice (the corner pictured above) remained unfilled.
Now a job listing, first spotted by ...

Here's a complete guide to all the new London restaurants that have opened...
All the latest news on every upcoming London restaurant that's going to be opening in the capital. The only Coming Soon list you need.

Now that we've left dreary January behind there are some very interesting new openings to look forward to this month, including the return of chef Dom Taylor, a new wave Mexican, a Brixton import to Mayfair and a new Hoppers with a massively overhauled menu.
Look, we love a gimmick as much as the next person, but even we were slightly taken aback by the upcoming Old Street bar FlipDog. The bar (which happens to be a cocktail bar rather than a hot dog place) is going to be using a Loggerhead method to make some of its drinks. That means they're going to be putting a 1200°C iron poker into the drink "to enhance flavour, texture, and aroma."
It all sounds completely wild, but the owners behind FlipDog do have prior. Co-owner Artem Skapenko co-owns HRAM and Loggerhead Kyiv, described as a hidden gem by the World's 50 Best. That also uses
...There may be fewer banks in London these days, but quite a lot of those ex-banks are being converted into impressive-looking restaurants. Recently we've had the opening of Aki London in Marylebone and next up is KINZ, a new Lebanese restaurant that's coming to Notting Hill.
It's been put together by a trio, brothers Jad and Karim Lahoud and Rasha Khouri Bruzzo. The Lahouds, in particular, have been influenced by their parents, who were both chefs. As Jad says "Growing
...It's already one of the best restaurants in King's Cross and Dim Sum Duck is clearly one of its busiest too, because they're getting ready to open a second restaurant in the area.
Taking over what used to be Meat House on Pentonville Road, the new place will be a second Dim Sum Duck, and it's only about a two-minute walk from the original restaurant. But don't expect something completely different here. They'll be serving the same menu as the original restaurant, seven days a week.
If you're unfamiliar with the restaurant, then the name shouldn't leave you too
...Fulham folk who love a bit of Korean fried chicken will probably have already taken note of the arrival of Kokodoo on their high street just over a week ago. After years in the business, first as a street food stall, and then with a series of franchises across town, head chef and founder Mary Yoon has picked South West London to be her first owner-run restaurant. Yoon trained up at Le Cordon Bleu before deciding to concentrate on Korean comfort food.
The flagship Fulham location will serve up all the basics that have won them devoted fans across the capital. The chicken in

Here are all the new restaurants to look forward to in the coming week. This week, a hidden Hong Kong-style diner opens in London Fields, a big new hotel opens in Fitzrovia, there's a "Bri-talian" pizzeria in Peckham and more...
January might not seem like the best time of year to be talking about ice cream, but by the time Darlish's two new parlours open in Spring, it'll be a different story. If you haven't been to their Spitalfields shop on Brushfield Street before, then the USP here is that the ice creams are inspired by the Middle East, so think saffron, rose and pistachio or Turkish coffee. Their breakaway hit has been a baklava ice cream sandwich.
Founder Laura Dawson is of both Indian and Persian heritage and came up with the idea when she couldn't find the kind of ice creams in England that drew
...Very under the radar, and first spotted by industry newsletter Propel, Victor Garvey, the chef behind Michelin-starred SOLA, has opened his latest restaurant in Notting Hill.
Called Materia Prima (but also listed as Mater1a), the restaurant is one that's focused on seasonal produce and "simplicity" and the chef describes it as "my own little world that I’d like to personally invite people into, one service at a time." Taking inspiration from Japan in particular, there are multiple options for tasting menus (starting at £99) and some of the signature dishes on the menu
...A few weeks ago, we told you about the closure of The Crusting Pipe, a mainstay of Covent Garden for over 45 years. It was sad to see it go but, in fairness, the last time we were in the area, it was almost empty.
But now, we already know what's taking its place - it's the latest opening from Mr Fogg's. They're a group that have taken over quite a few difficult sites and made a success of them, so perhaps they're the ones who can bring some life back to this part of
...Bara, a new cafe and sandwich shop in Peckham, is bringing something new to the table: a little bit of Welshness. It comes from Zoë Heimann and Cecily Dalladay, a private chef who made it to the quarter-finals in MasterChef - The Professionals.
That Welshness comes through with a big focus on produce sourced from Wales. It's also very prominent in a few elements like their own Bara Brith (a Welsh fruit loaf) and a Swansea Breakfast, which is smoked bacon, Blas Y Tir leeks, Câr-y-Môr cockles and laverbread on toasted focaccia. Their own focaccia will be a big part
...Updated 20/1/25 with full details and an opening date.
It's been nearly 10 years since the original Hoppers launched in Soho. Now they're about to open their fourth restaurant, but this one is taking things in a different direction than before. Up until now, Hoppers has been known as a Sri Lankan restaurant but with this Shoreditch opening, they're bringing in more influences from South India.
