They have restaurants in Soho and Borough Market (not to mention as far afield as Doha and Dubai) and next up for Berenjak is Mayfair. As revealed on their own Instagram page, they're taking on a space on Duke Street right next to The Barley Mow (it's a new development so there hasn't been a restaurant there before).
If you're unfamiliar with Berenjak, they bill themselves as "home-style Persian cuisine". The smaller Soho restaurant has a mezze focus while the Borough restaurant is more about larger sharing dishes. Both feature their signature kababs (like the Jujeh Kabab Tond, which is poussin marinated in chilli, with garlic, somagh and red pepper paste). Expect the Mayfair restaurant to have a slightly different take with new dishes - but we'll know more about that closer to the opening date.
Doing a little bit of digging on the planning side of things, it looks like it'll be primarily banquette seating (with a small terrace) on the ground floor and some seats in the basement that could be a bar. But we'll know a little more about that in due time. We'll update this piece when we get some more info.
