We reported on this one way back in June 2025, but now it's being confirmed, Mazi is coming to Mayfair - although this outpost will be called Maza.

Tattu, the high-end Chinese restaurant with a view on the top of the Now Building, originally started as a group of restaurants in the North. Now the same team behind that are bringing another of their restaurants to London. This time it's the Mediterranean-inspired Fenix.

Mediterranean restaurant Jul's started life in Ibiza in 2018 and the same team also opened Humain restaurant in Athens. Now the team are getting ready to bring Jul's restaurant to London, opening in St James.

The London Pachamama Group has just unveiled its latest restaurant to make the switch to a Mediterranean menu. We went to Shoreditch to check out Lagana. 

The team behind Pachamama have spent the last year moving their restaurants' culinary inspiration point from Peru to the Mediterranean. It's been an extremely successful transformation, with both Bottarga on the King's Road and Nina in Marylebone being big hits. Now, the final restaurant, Pachamama East, gets the Med makeover, being reborn as Lagana.

This PYRO comes from chef Yiannis Mexis, previously at Elystan Street, The Ledbury and Petrus and most recently head chef at HIDE. It sounds not entirely dissimilar to a nearby Borough Market restaurant in that it's billed as a Greek restaurant that's "a celebration of cooking over fire". PYRO is taking over the space
