Vinoteca Soho to open on Beak Street

vinoteca soho[Updated 26th April 2012]

Following hard on the heels of the opening of their second spot in Marylebone, the team behind Vinoteca will be opening a third restaurant in Soho next month. Vinoteca Soho wine bar, dining room and wine shop will open at 53-55 Beak Street from May 14.

The Soho branch will be on two floors - a ground floor bar seating 45 will be an all-day dining space from 12pm - 11pm. There's going to be Prosecco on tap (hooray) and a wine shop out back. On the first floor the dining room with seats for 45 will be open for lunch and dinner and - good news for everyone - will take reservations for both lunch and dinner.

As for wines, you can expect a 300-strong list, with 25 wines available by the glass and everything you try will also be available to buy from the Vinoteca Soho shop or online.

In the kitchen is Will Leigh who was Head Chef at Vinoteca Marylebone. He'll preside over a frequently changing menu. Expect dishes such as grilled mackerel with rhubarb chilli and lovage, Roast loin of wild boar with polenta and gingery pears, Marinated grilled bavette steak with chips and Lemon curd and blackcurrant sorbet sandwich.

Front of house will be Willoughby Andrews who you may recognise from Vinoteca Marylebone and before that Kensington Place and Le Café Anglais.

Vinoteca Soho will be at 53-55 Beak Street, London W1F 9SH from May 16th 2012. Reservations are now open on 020 3544 7411.
