London’s celebration of mixed drinks is back for 2017. This year’s festival will see over 250 bars participate, offering £6 cocktails to holders of a London Cocktail Week wristband.
With plenty of great drinks to be enjoyed, we’ve put together our selection of our must-try cocktails.
Aqua Shard terrace at The Cocktail Village
Cocktail: Grapefruit G & Tea
What is it? Aqua shard’s bar manager Luca Missaglia has come down to earth for London Cocktail Week, bringing with him a range of signature drinks from one of London’s highest bars. His signature serve, the Tanqueray No. TEN Grapefruit G & Tea mixes Tanqueray No. TEN gin, Earl Grey tea, grapefruit juice and vanilla.

Mark’s Bar
Cocktail: St James Martinez
What is it? A classic cocktail with a HIX twist. Dustin Macmillan has conjured up his own version of this classic cocktail. It features Berry Bros No.3 gin, vermouth and a twist of The King’s Ginger liqueur.

The Wigmore
Cocktail: Blended Union
What is it? Our favourite pub of the moment, The Wigmore are forging their own way with their LCW special. The Blended Union combines The Wigmore’s very own Saison beer, Amaro di Angostura rum, fresh Union coffee, mango and honey.

The Permit Room at Dishoom, King’s Cross
Cocktail: East India Gimet
What is it? Throughout London Cocktail Week, you’ll be able to pop by Dishoom King’s Cross and grab some Okra Fries and an East India Gimlet, one of the creations of drinks-walla Carl Brown, for just £10.

Mac and Wild
Cocktail: Black Watch, Scottish Espresso Martini
What is it? One of the many inventive bottled cocktails created by the Mac & Wild team, Black Watch combines smoky peated whisky with coffee liqueur. Talisker 10, coffee liqueur, amaro, fresh coffee and cold brew coffee. That’s three types of coffee.

The Patron Cocktail Lab
Cocktail: Patron Echo
What is it? Created by Nikos Bakoulis, one of the leading bartenders at Athens’ The Clumsies this features Patron Silver, Mezcal, Greek syrup, lime, Tabasco, garnished with a chilli thread.

Nobu Hotel
Cocktail: Koko Chap Cocktail
What is it? Ever the responsible hosts, Nobu Hotel are offering a “Sip + Snack” in their Lobby Bar. £15 will get you a Koko Chap cocktail made with Crème de Cacao, Nobu Coffee, Japanese Whiskey, Brandy, Sette Vie Amaretto & Benedictine and a Korobuta Sausage roll with black sesame seeds.

Mint Gun Club
Cocktail: Bee and Bear
What is it? Newly opened in the heart of Stoke Newington, bartender Richard Hunt has created just the drink for an early evening aperitivo. Bee and Bear brings together Patrón Silver, Suze liqueur, Cactus Flower & Honey Cordial and Green Tea Kombucha. Quite the mouthful.

Buffalo Bourbon Empire
Cocktail: Buffalo Manhattan
What is it? One of the biggest names in bourbon, Buffalo Trace are teaming up with premium vermouth brand Antica Formula for their Buffalo Bourbon Empire popup. There’s over 50 bourbons available on the bar and they’ll be doing masterclasses and tastings throughout the week. Settle down with a Manhattan and imagine you’re in the mid-west…
