For a very festive take on sushi head to either central London branch of Inamo where they're currently making the cutest looking Santa salmon sushi rolls.
Christmas bread and butter pudding at The Devonshire

Perhaps the best iteration of Christmas pudding we've ever tried (forgive our terrible photo), this is the Christmas special on at The Devonshire at the moment. It's a bread and butter pudding, with a layer of Christmas pudding through it and bruleed on top, in a pool of Pedro Ximinez custard. Festive heaven.
Brussels sprout taco at abc kitchens
Belgravia - Old Barrack Yard, London SW1X 7NP
The Emory's restaurant is always big on seasonal ingredients so of course their latest taco features brussels sprouts. The taco is filled with roasted sprouts and topped with a salsa cruda and a rich salsa macha, before being topped with toasted peanuts for a crunchy finish.
Panettone brioche bun at Fink's
Hackney and Highbury
This seasonal special is made with a soft Turkish golden raisin and candied peel studded brioche dough. As head pastry chef Adriann explains,"we fill it with an orange zest, cinnamon and cardamom filling and finish it off with a bergamot citrus glaze and pearled sugar.
Sage stuffing brioche at Nessa
Soho - 86 Brewer St, London W1F 9UB
Back for a second year, the festive special at Nessa in Soho is their twist on the restaurant's signature black pudding brioche. This Christmas version is made using brioche toast and filled with sage stuffing and chestnut sauce.
Brussel Sprout Pizza at Pizzeria Mozza
Fitzrovia - Treehouse London, 14-15 Langham Pl, London W1B 2QS
Nancy Silverton's London restaurant has brought back their favourite festive creation for the season. The Brussel Sprout Pizza is topped with fresh brussels sprouts, red onion, guanciale, chilli flakes, pecorino Romano & parmigiano Reggiano.
Turkey Almond Mole Tacos at Wahaca
Across London
If your big gripe with Christmas food is a lack of spice then you'll need to head to Wahaca for their festive tacos. Wahaca co-founder Thomasina Miers got inspired by this on a visit to Mérida, capital of Yucatán. Roast, pulled turkey is served in corn tortillas with mole almendrado, achiote and chile de árbol. That's finished with sweet fried plantain and avocado puree.
Christmas croquetas at Boqueria
Battersea - 278 Queenstown Rd, Nine Elms, London SW8 4LT
There are a number of festive options on the menu in the run up to Christmas at this Battersea tapas spot, but the one we most fancy trying is the platter of Christmas Croquetas - they're stuffed with creamy Cabrales blue cheese and then paired with a festive berry dip.
Six Cheese and Fig Pizza at Flat Earth
288 Cambridge Heath Rd, Cambridge Heath, London E2 9DA
Inspired by the Christmas cheeseboard, this festive pizza features six British cheeses: La Latteria mozzarella, Devonshire red, Somerset cheddar, smoked scamorza, orange zested ricotta, and grated Spenwood. That's then combined with fig jam, pickled grapes and a pickled fig on a white base. And if that's not cheesy enough for you, they can also put a London burrata on their as an extra.
Battered Christmas pudding at Poppies
Portobello, Camden, Soho and Spitalfields
Proof that that really isn't anything that can't be battered and deep-fried, the folks at Poppies always pick one festive classic and put it in their deep fryer. This year they're serving up "the best Christmas pudding of your life" which is battered and fried and then served up with a scoop of vanilla gelato.
The Baileys Bauble at Straits Kitchen

We're all for more creative desserts using that most festive of drinks, Baileys. At Straits Kitchen, their dessert bauble features spiced apple compote, milk chocolate Baileys mousse, and a light caramel sponge, in a chocolate shell shaped like a Christmas bauble. Just don't try to hang it on a tree.
