South London's collection of good independent coffee shops got a boost this week with the opening of Moonstruck on South Lambeth Road. The man behind the cafe is self-styled 'coffee nerd' Liam Clifford who was previously at Rosslyn Coffee.
His new spot is serving up coffee by Woolwich-based roasters Plot and this week they released a special collaboration Moonstruck coffee with beans sourced by Cata Export. Fellow coffee nerds should note that award-winning barista Alexa Lee will be heading up the team as head barista and they're gearing up to launch a frozen coffee menu with over 60 to choose from in about a month.
As for the food, that comes courtesy of the folk at Toklas Bakery.
