It's been host to a rather crazy interactive installation for a few months now, but now Brown Hart Gardens is also getting a new terrace for the summer.
The Stripes Amalfi Terrace is taking over most of the garden and giving it an Amalfi makeover. That means they will be adding lemon trees and Mediterranean foliage as well as striped loungers and beach umbrellas. So, if the sun is shining and you fancy a break in Mayfair, this could be a very handy destination.
In charge of the food is Enzo Oliveri, who has put together a menu of Italian Pinsa (billed as a lighter alternative to traditional pizza) and Italian street food. On the menu will be:
- Amalfi Garden Pinsa with asparagus, zuchetta, vegan fresh curd, pea shoots and Amalfi lemon
- Caviar and Crème Fraiche Pinsa with Oscietra caviar, crème fraiche, chives and Amalfi lemon
- Burrata and Truffle Pinsa with Fior di latte, sliced Umbrian truffle and burrata
There will also be fresh oysters and a gelato bar. As for drinks, expect cocktails, spritzes, wine and prosecco. They'll also have Wimbledon screenings, an Italian film festival and more appearing over the summer.
