Updated 10/5/22 with opening date and booking info
The Ivy Asia might have had a problematic history, but it's still continuing to expand in London. The brand, which in some ways is a slightly more affordable version of the same group's Sexy Fish, is opening its next restaurant on North Audley Street (itself only a few minutes walk from Sexy Fish).
As before, the underlit green agate flooring will be one of the main features and for this restaurant, there are also twelve blossom trees planted throughout the building, including a cherry blossom walkway that will connect the bar and restaurant (assuming you can get past the selfie-takers, we'd imagine).
Here you can expect a pan-Asian menu, with dishes including Aromatic Half Crispy Duck, Slow-Roasted Spiced Beef with butter lettuce wraps and more. Alongside the food, they'll also have ten new cocktails that will be unique to the Mayfair launch.
This will also be the first Ivy Asia to have its own sushi counter and alfresco dining, with five tables on a terrace outside.
Let's hope they've learnt their lesson and have considered their advertising message this time, though.
