Flat Iron are heading south of the river again, this time to Waterloo (taking over the space vacated by Byron). They've only recently opened further along the river close to London Bridge, and this new opening will be their tenth London restaurant (and its opening also happens to coincide with their tenth anniversary).
It'll follow the same lines as the nine previous Flat Irons - so, offering affordable steak cuts (mainly the titular flat iron/featherblade cut) and sides. As usual, you can also expect daily special cuts on the blackboard and there will be a new burger from their "head of beef" chef Fred Smith. That's the Herd Burger made with beef sourced from Flat Iron’s own herd in Thirsk, Yorkshire.
