Fresh pasta for Brixton as La Nonna lands a permanent place on Market Row

la nonna brixton village

Having built up a fanbase of South Londoners who love their fresh pasta at Flat Iron Square, La Nonna are sharing the love and opening a second place south of the river. This time, though, it's going to be a proper bricks and mortar affair in Brixton Village.

Run by Roman-born chef Daniele Pino, the menu features Daniele's modern takes on his family's favourite pasta dishes including Roman Carbonara, Cacio e Pepe and Creamy Mushroom and Truffle - all of which are made with pasta made fresh on-site daily.

The drinks list at Brixton will be a mix of natural and organic wines with an, as you'd expect, focus on Italian producers.

If you want to grab and go, the deli side of things here will be a useful place to know about. It'll sell La Nonna's DIY fresh pasta kits alongside guanciale, Pecorino Romano DOP, Parmigiano-Reggiano, and other Italian cheeses and cured meats.
