Is this city big enough for two restaurants devoted to the avocado? The Avocado Show has been a huge hit back in Amsterdam since opening there four years ago (and they even had a pop-up here). Now they're hoping to work their brand of magic on Londoners, opening their first UK restaurant just off Oxford Circus.
Their big thing is that everything they serve is made using sustainable avocados. So you'll find avo fries, nachos with guac, mango and avo poke bowls and even burgers made with avocado halves as buns.
If brunch is your thing - and, as an avocado lover, why wouldn't it be? - you'll find avo toast taken to the next level including a Mango Tango, featuring toast with curry hummus and mango with an avocado rose and black sesame. There'll also be spirulina pancakes with avocado, blueberries, crispy bacon and maple syrup to kickstart your day.
Going on these pictures along, the dishes certainly do look very pretty - let's hope they taste as good as they look.
