While Tom Brown and James Toth are waiting to reopen Cornerstone they've decided to set the ball in motion, with a series of Saturday pop-up takeaways outside the restaurant in Hackney Wick.
"Because we’re bored of sitting twiddling our thumbs we thought we’d do a lil takeaway event down in the wick this Saturday," said Tom. "Same deal as the one last year, first come first served."
Dishes available to take away include:
- Oysters with seaweed hot sauce and lime
- Salmon pastrami
- Hake Kiev with hazelnut butter and wild garlic hollandaise
- Rhubarb and custard trifles
They'll be pouring cold draught beers by Camden Hells and are recommending you either perch outside Cornerstone or take the dishes down to the canal to enjoy in the sunshine.
