Patty&Bun spin-off Sidechick is becoming a real restaurant

Patty&Bun spin-off Sidechick is becoming a real restaurant

One of the developments we're seeing as we emerge into a post-lockdown world is that some formerly delivery-only businesses are getting ready to launch real life restaurants. The latest of these is Patty&Bun spin-off Sidechick, which is actually opening on James Street, just a few doors down from the original Patty&Bun.

If you're unfamiliar with Sidechick, they specialise in chicken, as you might have surmised from the name. In the delivery world, that meant whole or half chickens, seasoned with piri piri, clarified butter or za'atar and paired with sides like crispy potatoes, romaine caesar salad and dips that include smoked garlic aioli and burnt leek mayo. Expect flatbreads cooked over coal to join the menu at the restaurant, as well as biodynamic wines and a new cocktail list.

As for the restaurant, It'll have seating across two floors and some all-important terrace space.
