Returning to the City today is Pascal Aussignac and his restaurant Comptoir Gascon, kicking off a new collection service. It's the first week Pascal's takeaway selection has been available since lockdown and, much like the restaurant, there's a very classic French feel about the dishes on offer with the chef's signature foie gras making an appearance.
Here's a selection of dishes:
- Pan-fried foie gras, grapes and verjus
- Home-made duck confit
- Traditional cassoulet from Toulouse (pictured above)
- Barbecued whole duck Magret
- Piperade Basquaise
- Classic gratin Dauphinoise.
Expect the menu to change, as we see the chef is promising aligot for future menus, which I think is something we can all get behind.
