What: Martha's
In a nutshell: American food, jazz and more in Soho
Summing it all up: Taking over the spot once held by Jackson And Rye, this is a retro-styled restaurant with American food and revue acts.
The low-down
Taking over from Jackson and Rye in Soho is Martha's. Those of you that are familiar with the place will see it revamped with vintage gold chandeliers, brushed silk wallpaper, palm trees and a giant disco ball - so it sounds like they're going a bit retro on us.
Food-wise, there will be a menu of American classics - so that includes honey truffle fried chicken, truffle mac and cheese, oysters, shrimp cocktail, steaks, chipotle creamed corn and pasta dishes (as well as vegan options). Those are backed up by classic cocktails as well as live jazz, drag acts and more besides.
