Summing it all up: They've been a big hit at London Bridge, and now 'O ver are bringing their pizzas to St James's Market
The low-down
Since opening near London Bridge, 'O ver have built a strong reputation for their pizzas, in which the dough is infused with purified seawater. They must be doing something right because they're about to open their second restaurant in St James's Market, taking over the spot once held by Anzu. The area has been going through a fair bit of overhaul as late, with Cubitt House about to open a new bar there too.
Details are slim as to what will be on the menu of the new O'ver, but we'll assume it's close to the original where the pizzas include:
- Paloma - Smoked buffalo mozzarella from Sorrento, wild chiodini mushrooms, artisan rolled italian bacon, organic black pepper, basil
- Tartufata - White truffle burrata, mozzarella, Italian pork sausage from Tuscany, Italian Cherry tomatoes, Basil
- Capo Rizzuto - Fior di latte mozzarella from Monti Lattari, San Marzano DOP tomato sauce, N’duja (Spicy), basil
- Salsiccia - Smoked buffalo mozzarella from Sorrento and Fior di latte mozzarella from Monti Lattari, San Marzano DOP tomato sauce, “Cinta Senese” Italian pork sausage from Tuscany
- Parma - Fior di latte mozzarella from Monti Lattari, San Marzano DOP tomato sauce, Parma ham DOP cured 24 months, organic rocket and Parmesan cheese flakes aged 24 months
