Yes, London has some of the World's Best Bars (and a certain upcoming opening is a definite contender for next year's no 1) but lately, we've seen some of the best bars elsewhere in the world come to us too. So if you've ever fancied visiting the best bar in Asia, but haven't been able to find the airfare, here's a chance to try it right here in London.
Manhattan bar is from Singapore and it's also rated as the 3rd best bar in the entire world. So its upcoming pop-up at 34 Mayfair should definitely be one for the diary.
Manhattan's Senior bartenders Kelvin Lomeda Saquilayan and Yeonju Kang have worked with the 34 bar team to put 10 cocktails on the list, including...
- Kerman - Patrón Silver Tequila, pistachio orgeat and lime
- Aviation - Hendrick’s Gin, Luxardo Maraschino, clarified lemon, crème de violette and sugar
- Amelia- Absolut Elyx vodka, St Germain liqueur, lime, sugar and fresh blackberries
On top of that, 34 Mayfair’s head chef, Harvey Ayliffe, will be cooking up some specials for the pop-up. They include - Lobster mac with shaved truffle; Buttermilk fried chicken burger, avocado and crispy bacon and 34 tacos
with lobster, shrimp and passion fruit.
It all takes place in the Emin Room, just above the restaurant.
