• Brix sees Brixton restaurateurs join up with DJ Troyboi to bring Brooklyn vibes to Bankside

  

  The team who launched the much-loved (and missed) Brixton Village Grill and also Chip Shop are headed towards the river for their next opening. Restaurateurs Michael Lythgoe and Cidalia Rodrigues are hoping to bring Brixton vibes to Bankside with their restaurant and late-night bar BRIX. And they're teaming up with DJ and producer Troyboi to make sure it has the right warehouse vibes.

• Boiler & Co in Bankside has Great British Menu finalist Kerth Gumbs in the kitchen

  

  New restaurant and bar Boiler & Co is heading to Bankside and has a very interesting chef heading up the menu - Kerth Gumbs. Last seen at Ormer Mayfair, he also made a big splash in the final of Great British menu last year.

  Following on from the hugely popular Exmouth Market and Kings Cross venues, Caravan has opened a third restaurant, south of the river. We check it out. 

• Caravan Bankside brings brunch and more to the south bank
