Villandry cafe comes to St James

Villandry cafe comes to St James It already has a pretty popular spot in Great Portland Street (not to mention Bicester) but now Villandry are opening a third cafe in swanky St James.

They'll be opening inside a 1913 Edwardian baroque building just off St James’s St, and on the corner of Waterloo Place. Apparently the inside "will recreate the Grand French Café with a south of France emphasis." Food wise, they'll be offering a similar menu of "all-day casual or high-end French dining".

Examples of the dishes on offer include dressed Devonshire crab salad with avocado and cucumber jelly; grilled sea bass, artichoke, broad beans, olives, sundried tomato, green beans and quails eggs and 28 day dry-aged Galloway steak fillet served with chips & Béarnaise sauce.

The New Villandry opens in Early November at 11 & 12 Waterloo Place, SW1Y 4AU. For more information, follow them on Twitter.
