East London fans of fried chicken should rejoice. The Spit & Roast crew are rocking up to Dalston Superstore for an eight week residency on the Kingsland High Street.
From 23 March they'll be at Dalston Superstore every Saturday and Sunday for eight weekends - reckon theirs will be a popular weekend brunch spot.
If you haven't already tried their chicken down at KERB or Brockley Market, know that Justin Unsworth and Ross Gardner (former chef at Medcalf on Exmouth Market) have been turning out high quality rotisserie meats and poultry, including their delicious buttermilk fried chicken for a while now. That fried chicken will definitely be on their Dalston menu along with a few burgers too.
