Feya on James Street will be a handy cafe for shoppers and Instagrammers alike

feya cafe london

What: Feya

In a nutshell: Instagrammable cafe chain

Summing it all up: Just around the corner from Selfridges and St Christopher's Place, chef Zahra Khan is getting ready to open an all day cafe with a special breakfast menu by popular Finnish Instagrammer Vanelja.

The low-down

The first in a planned chain of cafes, Feya, is getting ready to open by St Christopher's Place. The all day spot, right by Selfridges on James Street sees patisserie chef Zahra Khan (a graduate of Gordon Ramsay's Tante Marie cookery school) join forces with Finnish Instagrammer and cookbook author Virpi Mikonnen. Mikonnen, whose Vanelja Instagram page is known for its too-beautiful-to-eat breakfast smoothie bowls and cakes, will be responsible for the breakfast side of things.

From the food to the decor, it all seems tailor-made to go down a storm on Insta. So there's a lot of marble tabletops to take perfect snaps of Zahra's seasonal tarts, pastries, and cakes against.

To drink there'll be superfood lattes including beetroot, blue algae (an acquired taste perhaps?!), matcha, and turmeric as well as Kusmi teas and Ozone coffee.

As you'd expect from somewhere like this, every diet from gluten and dairy free to vegetarian and vegan will be catered for in the 31 seat cafe.
