There's no stopping the march of new hot dog places as one gets ready to open near Old Street station this week. Called CanDogs, it will be all about customising your dog to just how you want it. .
You'll be able to choose the bun (white, glueten free brioche, wrap or lettuce), type of dog (pork, chicken, beef, chorizo, veggie) and as many garnishes as you see fit - they'll include caramelized onions, pickles, grilled peppers, bacon, chilli beef, BBQ pulled pork, halloumi and more. All the meat available will be 100% British, with pork shoulder, chicken thigh and prime cuts of beef all being used to make the dogs - plus they'll have vegetarian, halal and kosher options. On top of this, they'll also have mini wieners and tater tots too.
Can Dogs opens 4 July at 235b Old Street, London EC1V 9HE. The following week, they'll be giving away 500 hot dogs For more on that, follow them on Twitter @candogs
