Cambridge Street Cafe takes over from 64 Degrees at the Artist Residence London

Cambridge St Cafe

Having opened as 64 degrees last year, the restaurant space at the Artist Residence hotel has undergone a total change of look, menu and chef. The Cambridge Street Café inside the 10 bedroom hotel has brought in chef Radek Nitkowski, previously of Dean Street Townhouse to run the kitchen and there'll also be a flower stall inside run by Okishima & Simmonds.

Breakfasts sound good - everything from healthy Quinoa with peach, goji berries mint & yoghurt (£7.50) to hangover-curing banana pancakes with crispy smoked bacon & maple syrup (£9) along with Allpress coffee, Flint & Co. teas and cold-pressed juices and smoothies. At lunch expect a range of sarnies and salads as well as larger dishes such as a soft shell crab burger with kale, radish & lime mayo (£16). The dinner menu ramps things up a bit with scallops with black pudding & apple sauce (£8.50) and pan fried sea bass with fregola & coriander (£18).

Cambridge Street Café opens for breakfast and lunch on Friday 21 August 2015 opening for full service on 24 August 2015 at 52 Cambridge Street London SW1V 4QQ. Phone: 020 3262 0501. Opening hours will be Monday – Thursday: 7.30am – 10pm; Friday – Saturday: 7.30am – 10:30pm and Sunday: 8am – 9pm. Keep up with their news on Twitter @CambridgeStCafe
