The Connaught Bar in Mayfair is the World's Best Bar for 2020

This is VERY poor timing. As London spends its first evening in lockdown once again, one of our bars has just been named best in the world.

England to enter second lockdown - restaurants and bars to shut for a month

As had been heavily rumoured and "leaked" earlier on Saturday, a new national lockdown is on the way. 

The lockdown will start on Thursday 5 November and is expected to last until 2 December.

Mondrian Shoreditch to replace The Curtain with chef Dani Garcia taking over the restaurant

Shoreditch hotel The Curtain is no more. It's just been taken over by Accor - and they're going to relaunch it as Mondrian Shoreditch in 2021.

The hotel was a complete new-build so, decor aside, we can't see any major structural changes happening but it does mean that the hotel restaurant will change - so Marcus Samuelsson's Red Rooster has left the building.

KERB comes to Mayfair with South Molton Street Market
