Ready Steady Cook is coming back, with Rylan as host and London chefs among the line-up

Almost a decade after its last episode aired, TV cookery show Ready Steady Cook is coming back.

The BBC this week announced it'll be broadcasting a new series on BBC One Daytime in 2020, hosted by Celebrity MasterChef finalist Rylan Clark-Neal.

They've also published a list of chefs taking part in the new series, two of which have London restaurants.

Red Hand in Dalston has some compelling cheese toasties you'll want to try

Here at Hot Dinners, we're particularly partial to a good cheese toastie, so news of a whole bunch of them hitting a menu in East London certainly got our attention.

Huge drugs bust at Gatwick turns out to be Purezza's vegan cake mix

British Transport Police thought they'd made a massive drugs bust this week when a suitcase stuffed with bags of powder was found at Gatwick Airport Station.

The only trouble is that the dodgy looking 25 bags weren't filled with a Class A substance but, rather more boringly instead, a huge quantity of vegan cake mix. It turned out to belong to vegan pizzeria chain Purezza.
