With the Easter break on the way, lots of London restaurants are putting on some very special Easter dishes. Obviously, they're only on for a limited time, but here are the ones we think are worth hunting down...

Looking for a sugar rush to kickstart your day? The The Smashed Mini Egg Croissant at this new dessert spot in Covent Garden features a sliced croissant, filled with chocolate whipped cream mixed with smashed mini eggs.
When? Easter weekend only.
Chick baos at BAO
Cute as anything, these limited edition chick baos come stuffed with a fried chicken nugget and are just on for two days over Easter. They cost £6.
When? Easter Sunday (21st April) and Easter Monday (22nd April)
Mango and coconut dessert at The Baluchi
The Baluchi - 181 Tooley St, London SE1 2JR
Enjoy a seven course Easter tasting menu concluding with an Easter-inspired dessert of mango and coconut mousse, served in a carefully-crafted chocolate egg shell.

Easter dumplings at Duddell's
Duddell’s - 9a St Thomas St, London SE1 9RY
For the Easter weekend, this Chinese restaurant is swapping out its usual dim sum selection for an ‘Easter Basket’ (£19) made up of six steamed dumplings - two chicks filled with chicken, mushroom and asparagus; two goldfish-shaped prawn dumplings and two Easter bunny shaped prawn dumplings.
When? Friday 19th April through Sunday 21st April 2019.
Everything eggy at The Petersham
The Petersham - Nightingale Ln, Richmond TW10 6UZ
Pretty much everything in the dining room at this Richmond hotel will be dwarfed by the massive 8kg egg chef Jean-Didier Gouges has created. While that looms beside you, you can tuck into a special Easter weekend meal with a dessert egg filled with white chocolate and raspberry mousse, pastry nest and nestling on edible chocolate soil.
When? Friday 19th - Monday 22nd April. £39.50 (three courses) Friday & Saturday and £48.50 (three courses) Sunday & Monday

Creme Egg doughnuts at VIVI
VIVI - Centre Point, 11 Saint Giles Square, London WC2H 8AP
This newly opened restaurant at Centre Point is putting on a dessert of crème egg doughnuts - featuring two warm fluffy doughnuts each containing a mini crème egg, served with lemon curd and a chocolate soil.
When? 19th – 22nd April. The dessert is £8.50 on its own or as part of their Easter three-course menu at £33.50.
Hot cross bun ice-cream sarnies at Mac & Wild
Mac & Wild - Great Titchfield Street and Devonshire Square
Mac & Wild's Easter treat is a Hot Cross Bun Ice Cream Sandwich featuring a toasted hot cross bun filled with Mackies honeycomb ice-cream, hazlenut and chocolate sauce and sprinkles for good measure.
When? Served up all through Easter week.

Hot Cross puns at Riding House and Rail House Cafes
House Cafes - Fitzrovia, Victoria, Bermondsey
Expect no Easter related pun to go unused at Riding House Café, Rail House Café and Village East where their Easter brunch specials are a Hot Cross Bunidict - a toasted hot cross bun base, topped with poached egg, swiss chard and hollandaise sauce (£7.50), and a ‘What’s Up Doc’ carrot-based cocktail, (£11), made with dark rum, carrot shrub, grapefruit and garnished with a physalis, to look like bunny ears.
