The best restaurants near Wembley Stadium

If you're one of the thousands of Taylor Swift fans heading to Wembley this summer then you've probably been wondering where you can eat near the stadium that isn't a total tourist trap. Here's our pick of where to go.

This huge food hall couldn’t be more conveniently placed for anyone going to an event at Wembley and the range of traders there means you’re always going to find something you like. Our best recommendation would be to hit up Spoon & Rice (Filipino grilled meat and rice boxes), Funky Chips for their loaded fries and maybe swing by Yorkshire Burrito for their Sunday roast wraps.

Bread Ahead are famous for their doughnuts, which you can get here, but this Wembley location is also notable for being the popular bakery’s first standalone restaurant. They serve great breakfasts until 2pm and after that it’s a mix of sandwiches, salads and burgers.

The former Michelin-starred chef is behind this large Indian restaurant en route to the stadium making it a handy place to meet for a meal before a concert. Here it’s all about Indian street food, so expect a more casual affair than his other places. For the dishes on offer, think onion kale bhajis, chana masala and chicken biryani.

Head up to the rooftop at the Hilton London Wembley where you can watch other fans arriving at Wembley with a drink in your hand and your shades on (if the weather plays ball). It’s a fairly classic selection of cocktails (nothing to set cocktail fans' pulses racing) but scoring a table up here counts as a win.

Fullers pubs are a decent bet food-wise and this huge purpose-built Wembley gastropub is no exception. There's always plenty of locally-sourced British food on the menus from the crispy Norfolk chicken wings to the Cobble Lane charcuterie boards. There’s also a decent-sized terrace, but expect competition to be fierce for those tables.

Mere minutes away from the stadium, this homely Caribbean spot is a great place to enjoy fried dumplings, jerk chicken and rice or curry goat. If you can spare room for it, their amazing rum cake is always worth having for dessert.

Whether you want to grab a samosa or chilli paneer wrap or something sweet for the walk down to the stadium, or settle in for a proper meal, this nearby Indian specialising in vegetarian dishes should hit the spot.

Let us caveat this guide by saying these are our pick of the best places to eat near the stadium if you're heading here for a match or concert. Elsewhere in Wembley there are amazing Indian restaurants - some of the best in London. But most of the good ones are at least a half hour's walk from the stadium, so they weren't handy enough to make it into this edit.
