Bars, wine merchants and restaurants across London and the UK are taking part in 31 Days of German Riesling this year. It's a whole month devoted to celebrating this most versatile of German wines. Here's just a taster of some of the events and promotions going on around town that you can get involved in.
What's going on in London?
Humble Grape
Where: Battersea, Islington, Canary Wharf, Fleet Street and Liverpool Street
Across their wine bars, Humble Grape are holding themed flights and wine tastings. Every Thursday and Friday they'll showcase some of the most iconic Rieslings which are not normally available by the glass.

Streatham Wine House
Where: 53a Streatham Hill, London SW2 4TS
This South West London wine merchant and bar will be running all manner of promotions, from Rieslings by the glass to tasting masterclasses and competitions.

Noize
Where: 39 Whitfield St, London W1T 2SF
Head to this Fitzrovia bistro during July where they'll be serving up German Rieslings by the glass to accompany the modern French menu.

Bacchus N4
Where: 15, Charter Court, Stroud Green Rd, London N4 3SG
If you'd like to try a range of Rieslings in convivial company, this Stroud Green wine bar is the place to go in July. They'll be holding two wine tasting events for 31 Days of German Riesling.

The Brackenbury and Kensington Wine Rooms
Where: 111 – 115 Hammersmith Grove, London W6 0NQ and 127 – 129 Kensington Church Street London, W8 7LP
Both Wine Rooms are entering into the spirit of 31 Days putting on special wine listings with food matches. They'll also have special promotions if you want to buy a bottle of Riesling and take it home with you.

D Vine Cellars

In Clapham, wine merchants D Vine Cellars will be running in-store tastings, pouring Riesling by the glass and, if you fancy stocking up, there'll be a special deal on German Riesling cases.

La Dame de Pic
Where: Four Seasons Hotel at Ten, 10 Trinity Square, London EC3N 4AJ
Michelin-starred restaurant La Dame de Pic prides itself on an interesting wine list and for 31 Days of German Riesling, they'll have wine pairings for their menus along with by-the-glass offerings.

Philglas & Swigott

Throughout July you'll find special Riesling flights being poured out at the two Philglas & Swigott wine bars. Look out for case deals too.

The Remedy

There are loads of events going on at The Remedy in Fitzrovia - including a wine tasting with top Riesling expert David Motion and a food pop up with Swedish embassy chef Lars Goransson who'll be pairing his menu with German Riesling.
