Taking over a space that was most recently Turkish restaurant The Counter, a new Berlin-inspired kebab restaurant is opening in Notting Hill (and no it's not another outpost of German Doner Kebab).
Kiez Kebab is taking the space and reinventing it with an awful lot of stainless steel, so it'll look quite unlike a traditional kebab shop. The menu here will focus on just three kebabs, served in pide - a choice of veal, chicken or a vegan option (it's still TBC on what the latter involves). Little else is known about the menu just yet, other than the base of the kebabs is "paired with sharp sauces, classic sides and rotating seasonal specials."
On the drinks side, there will be German and Austrian beers (as well as cocktails) and there will also be a hatch if you want to grab a kebab to go.
We'll add more details about Kiez as we get it.
