If you've ever watched Crazy Rich Asians and wondered what it was like dining at the top of that amazing hotel in Singapore, well you're soon going to get the next best thing. That's because CÉ LA VI which is the restaurant, bar and club at the top of the famous Marina Bay Sands hotel, is opening in the rooftop space of the new Renzo Piano building in Paddington Square.
The restaurant, which also has rooftop presences in Dubai, Taipei and Tokyo, offers a different menu in each location. So we're not sure exactly what's going to be served up in London. They've just said it's modern Asian flavours which, frankly, could be anything from sushi platters to wagyu steaks.
What we do know is that it'll take up the two top floors in this newest building at Paddington Square, accessed by their own high-speed lifts like The Shard. There will be a bar downstairs along with a restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining spaces. Upstairs will be a private dining room, lounge area and cocktail bar. So it's going to be BIG.
The group behind it, ADMO, have already opened the unfortunately named CLAP London and have plans to open Mykonos restaurant Nammos in Mayfair next year. As their CEO boasts; "The opening will mark a milestone for ADMO, signifying the group’s....growing presence in London’s phenomenal restaurant scene."
