For the month of September only, there’s a tacos takeover coming to Cantina Malibu in The Ned London. Breddos Tacos will be bringing their Mexican-flavoured joy every Friday.
If you’ve not sampled the fare of Breddos Tacos, this is an ideal cameo appearance, given the modern Mexican vibe in Cantina Malibu restaurant. Diners will also get the opportunity to engage with head chefs – Madeleine Haysey from Cantina Malibu and Ian Ciapara from Breddos Tacos – to learn more about their creations.
The limited-time menu features some Breddos Tacos favourites as well as one-off collaborations:
- Pescado a la talla with salsa verde and salsa roja: whole sea bass with two distinct sauces (one created by each restaurant)
- Birria de res taco: braised beef shin and short rib, guajillo chile and ancho chilli
- Carne asada: aged onglet with grilled spring onions, jalapeño and guacamole
- Baja cod: cod with pickled cabbage and pico de gallo taco
- Colifloral pastor: roasted cauliflower skewers, pineapple, tomatillo salsa and jalapeño
The collab news keeps coming, with Patrón Tequila curating an exclusive cocktail menu for the experience. You'll be able to choose from three of their creations: Posh Paloma (Patrón Reposado, Illegal Mezcal, pink grapefruit, melon, agave, soda), Peach Melba (Patrón Reposado, vanilla, raspberry, citrus) or Espejo (Patrón Reposado, bergamot, citrus).
