Perfectly timed for the on/off arrival of the British summer, Oasis Bar & Terrace is hoping to capitalise on Canary Wharf workers desire to grab a pint or Aperol Spritz post-work. To help with that it's got two defining factors in its favour.
The first is the bar - at 17 metres long they're saying it's the longest in the area and pretty much guaranteed to mean you don't have to wait a long time to get served.
The second USP, and the reason this place will get rammed over the coming months, is their massive upstairs terrace. It's going to have great views over Canada Square Park, two large TV screens ready to show the Euros, Wimbledon and the Olympics and a DJ at the weekend.
There are no specifics on the drinks or food menu just yet but it does look as though a great martini will be part of the offering here.
