It seems like only yesterday that you couldn't move on social media for photos of extraordinary grazing and charcuterie boards. Well now one of the UK's most popular accounts has decided to parlay its fame into opening a central London pop-up.
Grape & Fig caterers is run by Romford-based sisters Toria and Catherine Smith and they've been well ahead of the curve doing grazing boards for parties, weddings and more since 2017. Fans include actor Tom Hardy and presenter Rochelle Humes and you'll have seen their boards on Celebrity Big Brother most recently.
Now they're opening their first store, in central London. Billed as the UK's first ‘Build Your Own British Cheese Box’ bar. The idea is that you "choose your box size, your ‘base’ (cheese, charcuterie or vegan cheese), your condiment/s, & we’ll craft your perfect cheese box right alongside you, just for you."
The sisters' cheese bar will be inside Brityard, a new space showcasing homegrown brands which opened on Regent Street late last year. So if you're after a lunch option that blows away your colleagues' choices and is Insta-worthy to boot, this will be the place to go.
