Kwānt bar in Mayfair - the list's highest new entry
It has been a great week for London's hospitality scene. Not only did we score a load of new Michelin stars on Monday but we've now scored big on the Top 50 Cocktail Bars list for the year with almost half of all the bars on the list being in London. It's even better news for Manchester though, which having been disappointed by Michelin's reveal has at least this time topped the league with the country's best bar being Manchester's Schofield's Bar.
Back in London, the list's highest new entry was Kwānt in Mayfair run by the former head bar at The Savoy's American Bar mixologist Eric Lorincz. The highest climber was also from London - Kensington's Amaro bar.
